Supermax down 3.13% on appointment of new chairman

PETALING JAYA: Supermax Corp Bhd’s shares fell as much as 3.13% to RM2.78 on appointment of Albert Saychuan Cheok as its new chairman.

At 11.37am the stock was trading at RM2.85 with 2.20million shares done.

Cheok, 68, is a certified accountant and chairman of several listed companies in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

He is replacing Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz who resigned in April.
