Bank Negara’s international reserves up slightly at US$103b

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves rose marginally to US$103 billion as at Jan 15, 2018 from US$102.4 billion on Dec 29, 2017.

The central bank said in a statement today, the reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.1 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times the short-term external debt.
